OUR STORY. WHO WE ARE.
We are #DonateAPad - a group of passionate change-makers dedicated to empowering girls and women. Founded by Dumisane Ethan Kleinhans, a compassionate young man from Carletonville, our mission is to break barriers and foster gender equality by empowering girls worldwide.
At the heart of #DonateAPad are our incredible team members: Keano Khoaelane, our Board of Directors Chairperson; Sphosethu Ndzunga, our Board of Directors Acting Treasurer; and Onalenna Mabusela, our Board of Directors Vice Chair. Together, we work tirelessly to raise awareness and collect sanitary pads for less fortunate girls and women in our community.
We believe in the power of unity and collaboration. That's why our volunteers are the backbone of our campaign, reaching out to the community for support and driving our mission forward. We see #DonateAPad as not just a campaign, but a symbol of youth development and girl empowerment.
As Dumisane Ethan Kleinhans, our founder, says, "She can. She will." These words inspire us to uplift one another and stand united against the socio-economic challenges that hinder girls' success and self-development.

Period poverty is a reality that affects far too many individuals in our community and beyond. It is unacceptable that anyone should face barriers to accessing essential menstrual hygiene products, and it is time for us to come together and enact change.
I firmly believe that by working collaboratively and with unwavering dedication, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those impacted by period poverty. Together, we can ensure that every individual has access to the menstrual products they need to manage their periods with dignity and without shame.
Let us stand together in solidarity, supporting one another and lifting each other up as we strive towards our shared goal. Together, we can break down the barriers of stigma and inequality, creating a more just and compassionate society for all.
